If your PC is badly infected with viruses or it otherwise needs to be wiped and everything installed from scratch....
Note (*): we will call you if the PC needs to be completely rebuilt. If your PC is infected badly with viruses, it will be considerably cheaper to rebuild the PC than bill per 30mins of software fixing. A PC rebuild only includes the operating system and updates to the operating system. Additional software installations will be charged at software installation prices. The rebuild cost varies dependant on whether you have all recovery media or if the entire process must be carried out manually.(¿)
On-site installation of software or updates to existing software
Note: (∝) times and information relating to the fix can only be estimated. An estimate can be provided before work is completed. If the job is cancelled before having completed any installation, the minimum charge of £10 will be applied to cover fuel costs.
If your machine is slowing down and needs checking over to see that everything is OK. An annual maintenance if you like.
Note: this will require the PC or laptop to be taken away whilst all work is carried out.
Installation of hardware or updates to existing hardware

Upgrade of hardware such as installation of a new DVD drive or Hard Drive
Note: times and information relating to the fix will be provided. An estimate can be provided before work is completed. If the job is cancelled having collected the PC, the minimum charge of £10 will be applied to cover fuel costs. If parts are ordered for the PC, those parts must be paid for in full. The customer will be informed of the cost of the parts prior to ordering them.
Software Instruction or PC setup
We will come and set up your new PC for you or show you how to use the basic programmes on your computer to get you started.
Note (**): time should be booked in advance and is billed either per minute or by 30 minute slot, the default is per 30 minute slot unless otherwise requested by the customer. If the session only lasts 10 minutes, the minimum duration of 30 minutes will be billed for. The technician who will visit has been CRB checked however the check may not be recent. The CRB can be presented upon request. We cannot instruct on bespoke or complex software unless we have informed the customer that we have prior knowledge of that package. PC setup classes as the connection and powering up of a PC, any connection to the Internet must be previously arranged by the customer however, we will gladly assist in ordering the broadband package or informing a customer about their options.
If we can talk you through the job over the phone we will or we can sometimes offer remote support. Most phone support is FREE. (¤)
Note: If the issue is complex and will require time to talk you through, the telephone support may be chargeable, remote support can only be offered on machines where remote access software is enabled.
Discounts are available for the following groups of people: Senior Citizens (25%), Unemployed and recipients of income support (10%).
Note (±) proof of employment status will be required to receive a discount. Senior Citizens can produce a valid bus pass, unemployed must show their Job Seekers or Unemployment book and those on income support should show their support booklet in order to receive their discounts.
All returning customers automatically receive a 10% discount.
Note: If the returning customer qualified for a greater discount, the discount will only be applied once. For example if a returning customer is a Senior Citizen, they will receive 25% off but a further 10% will NOT be applied. Only one discount per invoice.
